An Environmental Laboratory Analyst is sought to gather, monitor, and test environmental samples to determine the presence of pollutants and other contaminants. The role involves collecting samples from sources such as air, water, and soil, and analyzing them with specialized equipment. This position is critical in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Environmental Sciences; or an Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Environmental Sciences.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in environmental monitoring and testing, with a strong understanding of environmental regulations and industrial processes.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in environmental monitoring equipment, data analysis tools, and environmental modeling software. Profound knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations, permits, and standards is required.
Professional Skills:
