Role Overview
We are seeking an Early Stage Project Manager responsible for managing the pre-construction process for High Voltage Transmission and Substation projects. This role coordinates and supports Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, and Construction resources through all early-stage activities. The position ensures each project is ready for turnover to the construction phase with a complete and executable plan, including schedule, budget, and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant project management experience.
Skills: Must possess project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively balance scope, schedule, and costs is required. This role requires the ability to travel approximately 30% of the time. Driving will be required as part of this position's duties.

- Coordinate project activities including budget, schedule, procurement, engineering, permitting, and land acquisition.
- Lead a team of project managers and manage the project portfolio for a designated region.
- Assist in developing project plans with an emphasis on scope, constructability, schedule, and costs.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including Development, Land, Environmental, Procurement, Legal, and Engineering.
- Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation to source and contract services and materials.
- Support the cost estimating team and manage the project budget to ensure financial targets are met.
- Manage the project schedule, communicating key risks and progress to management.
- Represent the organization's interests in meetings and presentations on project progress, issues, and risk mitigation.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
