Role: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Remote
Logistics: 40 hours per week, M-F 8a-5p
Pay Rate: $55-60/hr
Role Overview
This position provides an opportunity to partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to develop and deliver technology solutions that support Reliability and business processes across the organization. The role serves as a key link between business and technology teams, helping translate operational needs into practical, scalable solutions that align with organizational objectives and technology strategy. The successful candidate will join a cross-functional team responsible for delivering technology solutions with varying levels of business complexity and maturity.
Key Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 10 years of relevant business systems analysis, information technology, engineering systems, or related experience is required.
Technical Skills: Business Analysis, Requirements Management, Agile Methodology, Analytical Thinking, Business Process Analysis and Improvement, Stakeholder Management, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, identify opportunities, and translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Lead discovery, requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design activities.
- Collaborate with product teams, developers, architects, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business partners throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to define priorities, align stakeholders, and drive decision making.
- Develop and maintain business requirements, user stories, process documentation, and related project artifacts.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Support solution planning, testing, deployment, and adoption activities.
- Lead or support user acceptance testing, defect triage, issue resolution, and production readiness activities.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Evaluate enhancement requests and provide recommendations based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.

- Experience working in Agile delivery teams and collaborating across business and technology organizations.
- Familiarity with application integrations, APIs, data flows, and system interfaces.
