Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in the delivery of scalable, high-quality technology solutions.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex enterprise applications.
- Establish technical architecture and design standards.
- Guide development teams through the software development lifecycle.
- Review code quality and ensure adherence to engineering best practices and security standards.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to create technical solutions.
- Extensive experience in developing high-volume, enterprise-scale applications with Core Java and J2EE.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Java design patterns.
- Expertise with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration, and Spring Data JPA.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful web services with a strong understanding of REST/JSON standards.
- Familiarity with SOAP web services.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Proficiency with Git, Maven, and JUnit.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot to accelerate Java application development, including code generation, refactoring, and unit test creation.
- Ability to validate AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and security.
- Full-stack development experience.
- Experience supporting cloud-native or containerized applications.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with modern observability and site reliability engineering practices.
