Location: Charlotte, NC or New York, NY (Hybrid)

Role Overview
This Business Analyst will support SWIFT and payments-related initiatives within a Corporate & Investment Banking Operations organization. The role is primarily aligned to the Move Money / Payments function, with some interaction across FX initiatives. This is a hands-on position focused on gathering requirements, supporting testing, and working with technology and operations teams to enhance and support payments workflows. The ideal candidate can operate independently, driving workstreams forward with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
The pay rate for this position is between $56.25 and $62.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and technical requirements across payments initiatives.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology teams.
- Support testing efforts including QA and UAT validation.
- Analyze and map current versus future state payments workflows.
- Partner with operations, product, and technology teams across multiple workstreams.
- Assist with the implementation and enhancement of SWIFT messaging processes.
- 5 years of Business Analyst experience within financial services (payments, treasury, or capital markets).
- Experience working with SWIFT messaging and payments workflows.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation (BRDs, user stories).
- Experience supporting testing / UAT and partnering with technology teams.
- Ability to operate independently and work across multiple workstreams.
- Exposure to ISO 20022 / MX messaging.
- Foreign Exchange (FX) or treasury operations experience.
- Experience with payments transformation or system enhancements.
- Prior experience within a large banking environment.
