We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead our accounting team and drive financial excellence. As a key member of our finance organization, you'll oversee various accounting processes, including financial statement preparation, reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and revenue recognition. - Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate financial reports, statistics, and general ledger accounts
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
- Develop and implement accounting systems and internal controls
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure accurate processing and maintenance of accounting records
- Resolve complex accounting issues and provide guidance to staff
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, records, and reports for audits and other financial entities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- At least 6-8 years of progressive experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and accounting software (Sage Intacct experience a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with others
