We are seeking a high-performing, leader to drive growth and operational excellence across our Central Michigan Market Area. As Growth Director, you will be responsible for scaling two high-performing trades businesses, working directly with leadership to execute strategic initiatives, improve performance metrics and build a culture of accountability and excellence.
This is a hands-on, in-person leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving complex challenges, and excels at building high-performing teams. For the right person, this is a launchpad to further leadership development and a fast track to General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth Execution: Lead initiatives to grow the business through improved operational efficiency, sales performance, and strategic planning.
- Team Leadership & Accountability: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Identify bottlenecks, implement scalable processes, and drive improvements in service delivery, customer satisfaction, and retention.
- Performance Optimization: Increase key metrics including revenue, sales conversion rates, average invoice value, and maintenance plan adoption.
- Financial Oversight: Partner with Market leadership to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance (P&L experience is a plus but not required).
- Workforce Development: Expand employment opportunities, drive skill development, and promote career advancement across the organization.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- 3 years of leadership experience in operations or business development
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and execute growth strategies
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and scaling businesses
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High-energy, adaptable, and hands-on leader with a bias for action
- Experience in trades, construction, or service industries is a plus but not required
