Their primary responsibility will be to operate and program 5-axis TRUMPF laser systems to produce high-quality, precision-cut parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Keep reading for more details!What’s in it for you:1st shift opportunityCompetitive hourly rate ranging between $30-$36/hr. depending on experience Direct Hire opportunityLong term opportunity for growthAmazing benefit package once hired in permanentlyMedical, Dental and Vision401KPaid vacation What your day will look like:Set up, operate, and troubleshoot TRUMPF 5-axis laser cutting machines to support daily production.Program equipment both offline and online using TruTops software.Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and detailed work instructions to ensure accurate fabrication.Adjust machine programs, tooling, and parameters to maximize cut quality and reduce cycle time.Perform first-article inspections and conduct ongoing in-process quality checks to verify accuracy.Monitor machine performance and complete routine preventative maintenance tasks.Partner with engineering, quality, and production teams to drive process improvements.Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work area at all times.What we are looking for:3 years of hands-on experience operating TRUMPF laser systemsDemonstrated proficiency with 5-axis laser cutting equipmentStrong command of TruTops for both offline and online programmingSkilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T requirementsExperience working with a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminumSolid mechanical aptitude with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Background in high-mix, low-volume, or prototype manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with automation and material handling systemsPrior experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives At Apex, we actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
