From Mini Chefs to Silly Science, Hop, Skip, Jump, and Kreative Kids, you’ll lead engaging enrichment programs that spark creativity, curiosity, and confidence. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values growth play and meaningful connections with families.
This is a part-time position held at Fitzmorris Elementary School, perfect for those looking to make a difference while maintaining flexibility. Programs typically run Tue.-Sat. 8:30 am-12 pm, though schedules may vary from week to week.

What You’ll Do
- Create a safe inclusive and joyful environment where children feel supported and excited to learn.
- Lead and adapt to a variety of enrichment activities that promote developmentally appropriate learning through play.
- Build strong relationships with children's families and fellow staff through positive communication and collaboration.
- Prepare and organize lesson plans, materials, and activities that inspire imagination and exploration.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure program areas are clean organized and welcoming.
- Participate in team meetings and special events that celebrate our community and mission.

- Demonstrate a passion for working with young children and creating enriching, memorable experiences.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to connect with both children and adults.
- Thrive in a collaborative and energetic team environment.
- Show commitment to child safety and adhere to all program policies and procedures.
- Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role and complete Mandated Reporter Training.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- College coursework or professional experience in early childhood education, recreation, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience leading or assisting in childcare, educational, or recreational programs for children ages 2–5 is highly desirable.

Physical Activities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or sit on the floor as needed during activities or tasks.
- Duties may require sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, bending, or stooping for extended periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking loudly, when necessary, in noisy or outdoor environments.
- Ability to work most of the day on your feet, performing both active supervision and hands-on tasks.
