We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a travel role focused on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
- Evaluate patients using clinical exams, tests, and history to identify functional limitations.
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
- Operate specialized equipment safely and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management techniques.
- Maintain documentation of evaluations, interventions, and outcomes adhering to regulatory standards.
- Ensure a safe treatment environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
- Engage in professional development and quality assurance activities to stay current with best practices.
- Assist in discharge planning to support patient recovery and community reintegration.
- Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Physical ability to perform patient assessments and assist with equipment handling.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse healthcare teams and patients.
