Travel Physical Therapist - Weekly Pay

Role Overview: Seeking a travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mobility impairments, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. The therapist develops personalized, evidence-based treatment plans, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy and exercise, to facilitate patient recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through tests, examinations, and history-taking
• Create and implement individualized rehabilitation programs
• Operate and maintain specialized physical therapy equipment
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management
• Maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment and participate in quality improvement
• Assist in discharge planning and support continued patient recovery
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid physical therapy license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs)
• Effective interpersonal skills and professionalism
• Adaptability to irregular schedules and ability to work under pressure
• Visual acuity and effective communication abilities
