Front Desk Coordinator

Join our dynamic team as a Front Desk Coordinator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing excellent service to visitors, staff, and callers. Key Responsibilities

  • Staff and manage the front desk area during scheduled hours, typically from 10 am to 7 pm during the school year and 9 am to 6 pm during summer and school holidays, including a one-hour lunch break
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, route calls to appropriate staff or voicemail, and retrieve general voicemail messages daily
  • Maintain knowledge of staff members, their positions, and areas of responsibility to effectively direct calls and visitors
  • Be familiar with staff schedules, including absences and PTB schedules, to provide accurate information
  • Greet visitors at the door, verify identity via security camera, and admit visitors accordingly
  • Direct deliveries to the appropriate location and staff member, utilizing knowledge of the building layout
  • Provide general information about Girls Inc., including center hours and program offerings, to visitors and callers

Skills And Qualifications

  • Proven experience in front desk or receptionist roles preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of building security procedures and visitor management
  • Familiarity with office technology, including phones, voicemail systems, and security cameras
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

Requirements

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, especially Word & Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organizational skills, self-starter and detail oriented
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Experience with multi-line phone system
