Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will manage and grow an established territory by building strong relationships with electrical distributors and OEMs. The ideal candidate has a blend of technical aptitude, sales experience, and a passion for helping customers find the right solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with electrical distributors and key decision-makers.
- Promote and sell Apex Electrical Sales represented product lines to new and existing customers.
- Conduct regular sales calls, site visits, product presentations, and training sessions.
- Identify opportunities, generate quotes, and follow through to close sales.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support customer needs and project requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions.
- Attend trade shows, manufacturer trainings, and industry events as needed.
- Meet or exceed territory sales goals and performance metrics.
- Expected travel throughout Arizona: 30%.
Qualifications
- 3 years of outside sales experience (electrical industry experience strongly preferred).
- Knowledge of electrical distribution, electrical components, or related products.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned region.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
