Job Description: IT Project Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technology projects. The ideal candidate will manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close IT projects in accordance with project management best practices.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure, security, and vendors.
• Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
• Manage change requests, project documentation, and governance processes.
• Monitor project performance using key metrics and report progress to leadership.
• Coordinate testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Support vendor management and third-party coordination where applicable.
• Promote adherence to organizational policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure, application development, cloud, ERP, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, or Smartsheet.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Agile certifications.
• Experience managing cloud migration or digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with ITIL and IT service management processes.
• Knowledge of risk management, budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.
• Experience working in enterprise environments with cross-functional teams.
