What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Aperture Group?
Responsibilities:
- Maintain continuous, open, consistent professional communication with customers, peers, and management.
- Ensure that all customer deliverables are met. (Quality, Schedule, Customer Service, Recovery Schedule, Site Visits, etc.)
- The PM is to manage and maintain the project from the receipt of P.O. all the way through project close/customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate timely responses to all customer & internal requests.
- Maintain accurate up to date documentation throughout the project.
- Quotes, PO’s, Change Orders, BOM’s, Approvals, Meeting Minutes, Action items, etc.
- Facilitate BOM & Drawing approvals with customer.
- Facilitate all required Internal meetings and follow up to ensure team deliverables are met. (Including but not limited to the items below)
- Project Kickoff with Estimator, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Scheduling, Shipping, etc.
- Project Kickoff with Customer.
- Regular meetings with customers, and the internal teams listed above.
- Supply meeting agendas with invites & follow up with meeting minutes/action items after the meetings are ended.
- Ensure order entry is accurate and all delivery dates are clearly communicated to the customer.
- Facilitate all project reprices & change orders throughout project.
- Oversee overall project costs and quoted margin.
- Ensure that all customer service requirements are provided on schedule for each project (Spare Parts, Maintenance Pages, etc.).
- Ensure that all project billing milestones & invoicing requirements are clearly communicated to the Financing Team.
- Facilitate all site visits (Project Management, Field Services, Quality, etc.)
- Maintain a working knowledge of end user specs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of conveyor equipment and applications.
- Make regular visits to project sites
Qualifications:
- Are proficient in MS Office environment including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
- Have proper phone etiquette.
- Can speak and write clearly and accurately.
- Have knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Possess multi-tasking capabilities.
- Preferred Minimum 2 Years’ experience in Project Management.
