- Provide education to family and residents on nutrition and meal planning
- Audit the kitchen and dietary department for quality and adherence to state and federal guidelines
- Track and tend resident data to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Create meal plans and assist with menu planning process
- Attend QAPI meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field (n/a)
- Experience: 2 minimum years of experience in long-term care setting
- Certifications/Licenses: Registered Dietician (RD)
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Additional Requirements: Long-term care experience; ability to monitor weight loss; part of the Interdisciplinary team; provides education to family and residents; audits kitchen and dietary department for quality and adherence to state and federal guidelines; tracks and tends resident data; creates meal plans; assists with menu planning process; attends QAPI meetings
