Assistant Activities Director

Job Summary:

As an Assistant Activities Director, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing engaging activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of our residents. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Activities Director in planning and implementing activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
• Develop and lead large and small group activities, ensuring inclusivity and participation from all residents
• Transfer residents to and from activities, providing assistance as needed
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and promote a sense of community among residents
• Attend care plan meetings as directed by the Activities Director
• Schedule entertainers for the facility and ensure a smooth execution of activities
• Complete resident documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment for the residents, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety
  
  
  

Work Requirements:

• 40 hours/week, including every other weekend
• Occasional overtime may be required
