The targeted base salary range for this position is $92,000-$138,000. This range represents the base salary only and reflects Apellis' commitment to competitive compensation within the biopharmaceutical industry. The final salary offered may vary based on individual qualifications, business needs, and current market conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage all documents for the organization or specific projects (technical drawings, reports, procedures, contracts, etc.)
- Ensure all documents are properly organized, version-controlled, and archived.
- Implement document control procedures in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Receive, log, track, and distribute documents using document control software or manual systems.
- Ensure timely retrieval of documents for internal teams, clients, and auditors.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure document accuracy.
- Monitor deadlines, document reviews, and revisions.
- Train staff on document control procedures and tools when needed.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with document management protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in document control, administration, or records management.
- Familiarity with document control systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Background in construction, engineering, oil & gas, manufacturing, or other document-intensive industries.
- Knowledge of ISO standards or quality management systems.
