Overview
Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Construction Manager - Level 2 to serve as Electrical Supervisor for a major renewable energy project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge power generation infrastructure while leading critical electrical construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and vendors at the project site
- Understand all drawings, contract documents, and quality documentation
- Verify accuracy of drawings, submittals, and specifications
- Oversee electrical and fiber testing (TTR, VLF, ODTR, Fall of Potential, VOCs)
- Manage SCADA and fiber optics systems implementation
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly on progress, quality control, and safety
- Use Unifier to record and upload electrical installation QC photographs
- Facilitate Request for Information (RFI) process with EPC and site engineering
- Perform equipment installation inspections to ensure compliance with scope and specifications
- Interface with safety, engineering, and quality control teams
- Support field commissioning and turnover activities
- Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6-10 years of experience in power plant commissioning
- Experience working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and testing procedures
- Knowledge of SCADA and fiber optic systems
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to safety as top priority
