Senior Project Controls and Scheduler - Level 4 Lead Position
Location: Juno Beach, FL | Type: Contract (8 Months) | Rate: $45/hour
Overview
Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls and Scheduler to join their Engineering and Construction Division. Key Responsibilities
- Lead teams in creation, maintenance, and progress tracking of project schedules using Primavera P6
- Collaborate with Project Originators, Developers, Project Managers, Engineers, and Construction Managers
- Prepare monthly construction project reports comparing baseline to progress schedules
- Conduct critical path method analysis, resource loading, and cost loading
- Perform manpower submittal analysis and evaluation of update impacts
- Aid in recovery plan development and implementation
- Lead Schedule Review Meetings with all project participants
- Report project status and variances to management clearly and concisely
Requirements
- 15 years of project controls and scheduling experience
- 5 years of Primavera P6 Scheduling software experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or equivalent experience
- Proven team leadership capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset with bias for action-oriented performance
- Experience with energy/utility projects preferred
