Equipment Technician

AP Executive Staffing is partnered with a company in Tonawanda, NY that is seeking an Equipment Technician to join their technical operations team. In this role, you will:

• Perform mechanical and electrical testing on equipment and systems

• Troubleshoot and correct issues involving components, wiring, controls, and software

• Calibrate instruments and equipment used during testing procedures

• Record, document, and maintain test data for quality and audit purposes

• Assist with test documentation that is included in machine manuals

• Support senior technicians and project teams during customer visits and training sessions

• Verify that labels, safety markings, and documentation are applied correctly before shipment

• Contribute to improving equipment quality and testing processes

What we are looking for:

• Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or 5 to 10 years of relevant technical experience

• Hands on experience with electrical systems, mechanical systems, and control panels

• Ability to troubleshoot software related malfunctions

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both customers and shop personnel

• Experience with ISO documentation, testing procedures, or validation work is helpful

• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail

• Willingness to travel up to 25 percent, including internationally
