Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled weekend Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing services, and vehicle recovery. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
- Operate a tow truck to provide roadside assistance, towing services, and vehicle recovery
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner
- Safely load and secure vehicles onto the tow truck or flatbed
- Transport vehicles to designated locations
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
- Handle conflicts or difficult situations with customers in a calm and respectful manner
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic automotive repairs
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics
- Previous experience operating a tow truck or similar heavy-duty vehicle is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with customers
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
