What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant position at Any Lab Test Now?
This is a part-time for a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant at Apopka, FL. The Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant will be responsible for drawing blood and other laboratory procedures, maintaining patient records, sending specimens to various labs, answering phones, greeting customers, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the lab.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Laboratory Skills and Blood Collection
- Experience in Medical Assisting and familiarity with Medical Terminology
- Knowledge and understanding of Medicine and laboratory procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Preferred)
- Prior experience in a lab setting or healthcare field is a plus
- DOT certification is a plus
- knowledge of Quickbooks a plus
- Knowledge or experience performing drug screens is also a plus.
- English and Spanish speaking is a MUST
Schedule:
- Day shift – 8 hours shift
- Monday to Friday & Saturday
