What are the responsibilities and job description for the Excavation Install Apprentice position at Any Hour Group?
EJ Home Services is a residential service company specializing in plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning. We have serviced Santa Clara and the surrounding Bay Area since 2006. We aim to bring on an experienced plumbing installation technician into our plumbing and excavation department. This position offers year-round work.
As an Underground Installation Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to learn all aspects of underground utility installation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain skills in:
- Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks
- Help install utilities such as water, sewer, or drainage systems
- Load, unload, and stage materials and tools
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Operate hand tools and assist equipment operators as directed
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
