What are the responsibilities and job description for the Excavation Install Apprentice position at EJ Home Services?
EJ Home Services is a residential service company specializing in plumbing, electric, heating, and air conditioning. We have serviced Santa Clara and the surrounding Bay Area since 2006. We are looking to bring on a warehouse associate to help manage our inventory and run parts to our employees. We are looking for a full-time member to be on our team.
As an Underground Installation Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to learn all aspects of underground utility installation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain skills in:
- Assist with excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling tasks
- Help install utilities such as water, sewer, or drainage systems
- Load, unload, and stage materials and tools
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Operate hand tools and assist equipment operators as directed
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
