EssentialFunctions
Operator III - embroidery Operates multi-head direct embroidery machines
to include hooping, set-up, trimming, steaming, and packaging Using
Tracker, can pull down the embroidery instructions and match them to the
customer order Can set up the embroidery machine to operate the
necessary number of embroidery heads to meet a balanced flow Can perform
minor operator-maintenance functions safely such as replacing needles,
changing thread spools, and releasing stuck garments May utilize Tracker
software
Operator III DTF/DTT Operating and maintaining Direct-to-Film (DTF) and
Direct Thermal Transfer (DTT) equipment: This includes the printer,
powder shaker, and heat press machines. Artwork preparation: Reviewing
and formatting digital design files (often using software like Adobe
Photoshop or Illustrator) and preparing them for print using specialized
RIP software. Production monitoring and quality control: Loading
materials, monitoring the print process to ensure color accuracy and
consistency, and inspecting the final product for quality.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving printer malfunctions, ink
clogging, or film adhesion problems. Inventory management: Keeping track
of consumables like inks, transfer films, and adhesive powders.
