Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and tend heat-treating machines (furnaces, baths, etc.).
- Read production schedules and determine processing sequences, furnace temperatures, and heat cycles.
- Inspect parts before and after heat treatment for quality compliance.
- Prepare tooling, load/unload furnaces, rack parts, and perform routine furnace maintenance.
- Move parts safely throughout the facility using forklifts, hoists, jack pallets, or rolling carts.
- Complete required documentation and follow all safety guidelines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Heat-treating or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read heat-treating charts and use measuring equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
- General computer skills and effective communication with co-workers and supervisors.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to export compliance regulations.
