Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist with seating guests and organizing dining areas.
- Manage guest flow and help maintain an efficient front-of-house operation.
- Answer basic menu questions and assist guests with general requests.
- Support takeout and pickup orders by confirming order details and directing guests appropriately.
- Communicate guest requests and special needs to servers and kitchen staff.
- Maintain clean, organized, and presentable host and dining areas.
- Clear and reset tables as needed during service.
- Restock menus, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies.
- Assist with phone inquiries and routine customer-service requests.
- Monitor dining areas and respond promptly to guest needs.
- Assist restaurant team members during busy service periods.
- Support opening, closing, and routine front-of-house cleanup duties.
- Report customer concerns, supply shortages, or operational issues to management.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hosting, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
