Onsite Senior Accountant needed to work with Current Controller and team. Opening due to company growth and promotions.
Job location: North Wales, PA onsite M-F 8am-5pm.
Qualification
- US bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting
- 3 years related experience
- 2 full fiscal years financial audit experience
- Experience with financial analysis and US GAAP
- Advance proficiency MS Office (specifically Excel)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- (Optional) ERP systems
Responsibilities
- The Senior Accountant is responsible for contributing to the company-wide accounting function and maintaining a complete financial reporting service for both domestic and international activities
- Ensure that monthly accounting entries, including prepaids, accruals, and deferrals, are based on accurate and supportable data and reconcile any discrepancies to facilitate month and year end close
- Includes preparing monthly financial reports for senior management, reporting and reconciliation of monthly intercompany, participation audit research and analysis, and maintenance of company master data
- Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and ensure that financial statements are in accordance with GAAP
- Enforce proper accounting methods, policies and procedures
- Research and support participation audits and third-party reporting
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations, and ensure reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner
- Work cross-functionally with other groups to foresee potential accounting issues and recommend practical solutions associated with contemplated business transactions
- Support completion of the external and internal annual audit of the Company financial statements, as needed
- Special projects or ad hoc reports, as needed
