Additional Info:
- Review, process, and ensure timely payment of approved vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company accounting policies.
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies, resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze financial data and account activity to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
- Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with business partners and department leaders to provide financial insights and support operational decision-making.
- Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within accounting operations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis activities as needed.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, assisting with training and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process optimization initiatives as assigned.
