Job Opening: Dog Daycare Attendant
We are seeking a reliable, professional Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. As part of a high-quality 24 hour full service veterinary hospital and daycare/ boarding facility, we are committed to providing exceptional care in a safe, clean, and structured environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, and comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and safely manage group play sessions
- Walk medical, daycare and boarding dogs throughout the day
- Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces
- Monitor dogs for health or behavioral concerns and report findings to the appropriate staff
- Maintain a clean and organized facility
- Follow established protocols for animal handling, sanitation, and safety
Qualifications
- Experience working with dogs in a professional setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to safely handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and time management skills
