This role sits at the heart of a modern industrial manufacturing operation where technology directly influences safety, environmental stewardship, product quality, and production performance. You will work onsite at a large scale manufacturing facility as part of a globally connected IT organization that supports continuous operations around the clock. Your work will have visible, real world impact every day.

You will join a team responsible for the digital backbone of the facility, supporting and evolving the systems that keep production running efficiently and safely. This position blends hands on technical ownership with close collaboration across operations, engineering, quality, and environmental teams.

What You Will Do

  • Own and support a diverse portfolio of applications and systems that enable manufacturing, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.
  • Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of systems that are critical to daily plant operations.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize and improve existing solutions through emerging technologies and creative problem solving.
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives that introduce new capabilities, from early research and design through deployment, training, and adoption.
  • Play a key role in the evolution of Manufacturing Execution Systems and other core industrial platforms.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and full platform replacements, working independently or within cross functional teams.
  • Provide hands on support and guidance to end users, including troubleshooting, training, and documentation.
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between information technology and operational technology systems, including historians, databases, execution systems, quality platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Administer and enhance industrial data historian platforms and their associated analytics and visualization tools.
  • Support and expand reporting solutions using a mix of legacy and modern reporting technologies.
  • Develop and optimize database queries to support reporting, integrations, and operational insights.
  • Create and maintain internal tools and solutions using a variety of scripting, automation, and low code platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and contractors to define requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Administer and develop collaborative platforms to support business workflows and information sharing.
  • Produce clear and accurate technical documentation to support systems and processes.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and operational users, translating needs into practical, high value solutions.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, software engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Five or more years of experience building, integrating, and supporting applications, databases, and server based systems.
  • Hands on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is strongly preferred, though not required.
  • Exposure to manufacturing historians, analytics platforms, and visualization tools is a strong advantage.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Proven skill in managing change while balancing multiple initiatives and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen, clarify, and influence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrated success working with cross functional teams across technical and non technical domains.
  • Comfort with standard business productivity tools and enterprise collaboration platforms.

How You Work

  • You prioritize safety, reliability, and well being in every decision.
  • You value collaboration, inclusion, and shared success.
  • You focus on the needs of internal customers and operational teams.
  • You act with integrity and earn trust through consistency and accountability.
  • You thrive in team environments while taking ownership of your responsibilities.
  • You bring curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset to problem solving.
  • You adapt quickly and respond effectively to changing priorities.
  • You strive for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This is an opportunity to build a long term impact at the intersection of technology and industrial operations, where your work directly supports people, processes, and sustainable production.
