What You’ll Do
- Define Technical Vision: Set the company’s technology strategy at the intersection of AI, defense, and enterprise platforms, ensuring both near-term impact and long-term innovation.
- Architect Next-Generation Systems: Oversee the design of secure, distributed, high-performance platforms for AI-driven decision-making, simulation, and automation.
- Lead World-Class Teams: Recruit, mentor, and inspire top engineers, researchers, and technical leaders across multiple disciplines.
- Advance AI & ML Integration: Drive applied AI research into production, including generative AI, computer vision, autonomy, and predictive modeling.
- Ensure Security & Trust: Build technology that meets the highest standards of cybersecurity, reliability, and compliance in high-stakes environments.
- Partner Across the Organization: Work closely with the CEO, product, and operations leaders to align technology investments with strategic objectives and customer needs.
- Represent Technology Externally: Serve as a thought leader in AI and advanced technology, representing the company to partners, governments, enterprises, and the broader tech community.
- Proven Leadership: 15 years of experience in engineering leadership roles, including success scaling technology organizations to global impact.
- Technical Depth: Background in distributed systems, AI/ML, or high-performance computing, with hands-on engineering experience earlier in your career.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to define long-term technical roadmaps and translate them into actionable, high-impact execution.
- Operational Excellence: Experience delivering secure, scalable, and mission-critical products in defense, government, or enterprise domains.
- Collaborative Influence: Track record of building partnerships across executive teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Inspiring Leadership: Ability to attract, grow, and retain top technical talent while fostering a culture of innovation, integrity, and urgency.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; PhD a plus.
