What You’ll Do
As an HR Generalist at ATS, you’ll act as an internal consultant and advisor while keeping a strong pulse on the business.
Employee Relations & Consulting
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers on employee relations, engagement, performance management, discipline, and retention strategies
- Coach leaders on conduct issues, timekeeping, performance appraisals, and development
- Partner with employees as a first point of HR contact for employee relations questions (non‑benefits)
Leadership Support & Training
- Support and deliver ATS Manager Training and leadership development initiatives
- Collaborate with the HR team to build tools, resources, and training that improve leader effectiveness
- Consult on HR and organizational development programs (job descriptions, competencies, performance systems)
Escalations, Compliance & Risk Management
- Manage escalated employee relations issues, including investigations and fact‑finding
- Ensure all HR activities comply with EEO, HIPAA, ERISA, and employment laws (multi‑state exposure preferred)
Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to guide leadership decisions
- Track metrics, identify opportunities, and recommend proactive solutions
Culture & Collaboration
- Help strengthen ATS’s culture through engagement, wellness, and employee initiatives
- Be flexible—some work outside traditional hours and occasional overnight travel may be needed
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- PHR or SHRM‑CP certification preferred, but not required
- Experience supporting multiple locations or business units
- Knowledge of several HR disciplines (employee relations, HRIS, onboarding, wellness, employment law, etc.) Strong consulting, influencing, and communication
- Occasional travel availability
Compensation & Benefits
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
