Staffing Sales Executive – Professional Staffing | Norwalk, CT
A privately held, $100M professional staffing firm is actively hiring experienced Staffing Sales Executives to support continued growth across Accounting & Finance, IT, Legal, Administrative/Clerical, Education, and other professional staffing verticals.
This organization has built a strong reputation over 65 years and is investing heavily in growth across the Northeast and key national markets. They are seeking driven, relationship-focused staffing professionals who thrive in a hunter environment and want the backing of an established platform with strong delivery support, advanced tools, and a collaborative culture.
Hybrid schedule (3 days in office)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive new business development within mid-sized companies (100–5,000 employees)
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and decision-makers
- Sell temporary, consulting, temp-to-hire, and direct hire staffing solutions
- Partner closely with recruiting teams across multiple professional verticals
- Cross-sell services and expand accounts across geographies when appropriate
- Generate consistent client meetings, pipeline activity, and weekly growth
- Use modern sales tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, AI tools, and marketing-generated leads
This is primarily a hunter role focused on new client acquisition rather than account management.
Who They’re Looking For
- Staffing industry experience strongly preferred
- Background in A&F, IT, Legal, Professional, Administrative, or related staffing verticals
- Business development, full desk, or recruiting experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative sales culture
- Motivated by uncapped earning potential and growth opportunities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The company will also consider experienced Full Desk Executive Recruiters looking to transition into a more sales-focused environment.
Compensation
- Base salary generally in the $70K–$80K range DOE
- Non-recoverable guarantee/draw available
- Competitive commission structure with uncapped earnings
- Top producers earning $300K–$1M
