Job Title: Senior Estimator

Salary: $115K-$125K

I am currently working with an AISC certified fabricator, who are currently backlogged by 40 projects. Due to their HUGE growth period in the last 6 months and with projects starting in the new year, they need a Sr Estimator to join their team.

Job Overview:

• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings/specifications.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for structural steel, misc. metals, connections, coatings, and erection labor.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing for materials, coatings, freight, and specialty items.
• Develop accurate cost models and build competitive bids based on labor, material, equipment, schedule, and project risks.
• Coordinate with project management and operations to verify production rates, erection approaches, and fabrication capacity.

What you need:

• 2 years in steel estimating
• Tekla experience (preferred but not essential)
