Senior Project Manager – Drainage & Stormwater

A well-established, Texas-based civil engineering firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Drainage & Stormwater to join its Houston team. This is a senior-level technical and leadership role focused on large-scale drainage and stormwater projects.

The ideal candidate brings deep Texas drainage experience, strong project management skills, and a desire to mentor and lead engineering teams while delivering high-profile public infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage complex drainage and stormwater projects from planning through design and construction
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers
• Oversee large-scale drainage studies, feasibility studies, watershed studies, detention ponds, channels, and roadway drainage projects
• Coordinate with counties, municipalities, and public-sector stakeholders (including TxDOT)
• Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
• Support limited business development efforts (~20%), primarily through client relationship management

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 10–15 years of experience in drainage, stormwater, and civil engineering project management
• Strong knowledge of H&H modeling, stormwater design, and Texas drainage regulations
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and common drainage/modeling software
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and team management experience
• Local Texas drainage experience strongly preferred
