We’re partnering with a rapidly growing communications and power infrastructure contractor to hire a Program Director / Program Manager–level leader to launch and scale operations in Arizona.
This is not a maintenance role.
This is a build-the-business leadership opportunity.
You’ll take ownership of an existing multi-year program and help establish the operational foundation for long-term growth across Arizona and the Western U.S.
What You’ll Own:
This role blends program leadership, operational ownership, and office growth responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead full program delivery across engineering and construction
- Run day-to-day Arizona office operations
- Manage P&L responsibility and production performance
- Build and scale a team of 5–15 staff
- Oversee subcontractor execution and production quality
- Maintain safety, schedule, and cost performance
- Support long-term regional growth strategy
- Partner with leadership to expand market presence
Current program revenue is $8M–$10M annually, projected to grow to $12M–$15M .
What You’ll Be Working On:
Arizona work is heavily underground OSP construction, including:
- Directional drilling
- Rod-and-rope operations
- Fiber placement and splicing
- Right-of-way coordination
- Utility locates and potholing
- Traffic control and permitting
- Field safety execution
You’ll be leading production—not observing it.
Must-Have Experience:
- 10–15 years in OSP construction
- Contractor-side background (strongly preferred over ISP-side)
- Experience running teams and office-level operations
- Proven P&L responsibility
- Experience overseeing engineering and construction delivery
- Track record managing subcontractors and field production
- Stable career progression with demonstrated leadership growth
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience managing underground-heavy OSP programs
- Background in high-growth contractor environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with structured operational discipline
- Ability to build teams and culture from the ground up
Salary : $165,000 - $185,000
