Director of ISP (Inside Plant) – Structured Cabling

A rapidly growing national infrastructure and technology services provider is seeking a Director of ISP (Inside Plant) to lead structured cabling and inside plant operations across commercial and government programs.
This organization has built its reputation on teamwork, long-term relationships, and promoting from within, and is continuing to expand its presence across the Pacific Northwest.
The Opportunity
This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for driving performance across inside plant programs while helping scale a rapidly growing business unit.
You will:
- Lead 10–15 Inside Plant professionals across multiple crews
- Own operational and P&L performance across ISP programs
- Oversee delivery of structured cabling and government infrastructure projects
- Support growth of a $20M–$45M line of business
- Partner closely with senior leadership to shape long-term operational strategy
- Play a key role in building and mentoring the next generation of technical leaders
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide leadership across structured cabling and inside plant operations
- Manage multiple concurrent programs from planning through execution
- Ensure high-quality, compliant delivery, particularly within regulated environments
- Build scalable processes and drive operational efficiency
- Support project forecasting, scheduling, and resource planning
- Mentor supervisors and field teams while fostering a team-first culture
- Travel periodically for project oversight and client engagement
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Inside Plant (ISP) and structured cabling environments
- Strong leadership background managing technical teams and crews
- Experience overseeing multi-project delivery environments
- Demonstrated P&L or operational leadership responsibility
- Experience supporting government, federal, state, or municipal programs preferred
- Exposure to security, AV, or integrated systems is a plus
- Hands-on leadership style with strong technical credibility
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, relationship-driven culture
