What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator position at Anchor Talent & Consulting?
Anchor Talent has partnered with a fast-moving, global technology consulting firm based in downtown Austin. They're a small, sharp team doing serious work and right now, they need someone who can anchor their IT operations locally while the organization continues to scale.
This isn't a role for someone who wants a predictable queue of tickets and a defined lane. It's for someone who sees an unstable network connection as a puzzle, gets genuinely curious about automation possibilities, and can earn the trust of a team that works across time zones and industries. The right person here will grow with the company and leave their fingerprints on how IT functions for years to come.
The Systems Administrator will be the primary IT presence for the Austin office but support global operations. You'll be actively involved in automation initiatives, helping reduce manual IT overhead so the team can focus on higher-value work. As the company grows and evolves, so will this role.
This is a remote role for a Central Texas based candidate as occasional onsite presence will be required.
