Job Title: Registered Nurse NICU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our NICU team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for newborns who require intensive medical attention. As a NICU Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of premature or ill infants.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor vital signs and assess the condition of newborns in the NICU
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educate parents on caring for their infant and provide emotional support
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Follow hospital protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of neonatal care practices and procedures
