As a Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Inpatient Rehabilitation, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgery. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and evaluating patients' conditions and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and progress
- Collaborating with therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educating patients and their families on post-treatment care and rehabilitation exercises
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work environments
- Willingness to travel to different healthcare facilities as needed
