Job Title: Registered Nurse Med Surg/Telemetry RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse Med Surg/Telemetry RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a med surg and telemetry unit, monitoring patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, administering medication, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and evaluating patients' medical conditions
- Monitoring telemetry readings and vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educating patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment options
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- At least 2 years of experience in a med surg and telemetry setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
