Job Title: Nursing House Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a competent and experienced Nursing House Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The Nursing House Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff

2. Ensure proper staffing levels and schedules are maintained

3. Monitor and assess patient care to ensure quality and safety

4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

5. Oversee the training and development of nursing staff

6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

7. Address any issues or concerns that arise with patients, families, or staff

8. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

9. Participate in the recruitment and hiring of nursing staff

10. Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff

11. Act as a resource for staff in handling complex patient cases

12. Assist with budgeting and financial planning for the nursing department

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid nursing license
• Proven experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of nursing best practices and regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• BLS certification
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
