Job Title: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The ideal candidate will monitor patient vitals, ensure safe recovery, and respond quickly to any complications in the post-anesthesia care unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and assess vital signs (BP, heart rate, oxygen levels).

• Ensure airway management and patient stability during recovery.

• Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management as prescribed.

• Identify and respond to post-surgical complications promptly.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams.

• Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing / GNM).

• Valid nursing license/registration.

• Experience in PACU, ICU, or critical care preferred.

• Strong knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols.

• Excellent patient care and monitoring skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred:

• ACLS/BLS certification.

• Prior experience in surgical or recovery units.

Location: Open / As per requirement
Shift: Rotational / Flexible
