Job Title: Registered Nurse RN-OR/Circulator (Operating Room)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a RN-OR/Circulator in the Operating Room. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care during surgical procedures. You will be responsible for assessing patients, preparing surgical equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of the patient.
• Prepare surgical equipment and ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
• Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room by adhering to strict infection control guidelines.
• Monitor patients’ vitals and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current RN license in the state of New Mexico.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in the operating room.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
