Job Title: Electrophysiology Cath Lab RN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrophysiology Cath Lab RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various cardiac procedures, including cardiac ablations, device implants, and diagnostic studies in the electrophysiology lab. This individual must possess a strong understanding of electrophysiology procedures and technology, as well as excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assisting physicians during electrophysiology procedures
• Preparing patients for procedures and monitoring their vital signs
• Administering medications and conscious sedation as needed
• Operating and maintaining specialized electrophysiology equipment
• Educating patients on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions
• Documenting procedures and patient outcomes accurately in medical records
• Collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Knowledge of electrophysiology principles and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
