What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Radiologic Tech, Cardiac Cath Lab position at Penn Highlands Healthcare?
AS A CARDIOVASCULAR RADIOLOGICAL TECHNICIAN, under the direction of a qualified physician, you will assist in the performance of cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures, resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or treatment of heart disease, while promoting maximum patient safety and comfort.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of formal radiological technology training at AMA approved school required
- Previous interventional and/or diagnostic cath lab experience preferred
- Successful completion of ARRT registry exam
- Healthcare provider (CPR) certification
- Participation in department on call schedule
- RTR/CV or RCIS credentialing
- ACLS certification
