We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and physical function. The PTA will provide treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Position Details
- Location: Laconia, New Hampshire
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Pay Rate: $30 per hour
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and balance activities.
- Monitor patient responses and report changes to the supervising therapist.
- Document treatments and patient progress accurately.
- Educate patients on prescribed exercises and safe movement techniques.
- Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support patient goals.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work under a Physical Therapist’s supervision.
- Rehabilitation experience
