We are social, fast-paced, inclusive and our goal is to make high quality products using our tree-to-bar chocolate and cocoa beans from our farm in Brazil..
We are a small but International chocolate company based in Brazil. All of our chocolate is hand made and tree-to-bar. By this we mean that we only use cacao from out family farm in Espírito Santo, Brazil. We're working directly with the same cacao that our family has been growing for 4 generations, so we have an in-depth understanding of the unique characteristics of our terrier. We are hands-on and directly responsible for every step of the chocolate making process, from the selection of the ripe cocoa pods all the the way to the making of chocolate bars and other chocolate concoctions. This control of the entire production process gives us a unique ability to carefully develop the chocolate's flavor and guarantee quality through vital steps like the fermentation and roasting of the cocoa beans.
Our immediate need is a career-oriented food service professional, with experience working in a fast-paced kitchen. As with our cacao we take a lot of care in the preparation and presentation of all our menu items. The right candidate will be comfortable working by themselves and as part of a team. Strong multi-tasking skills are a must for this position, you will be expected to keep on top of your prep as well as manage orders as they come in. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Learning all Kitchen recipes and executing with attention and accuracy
- Daily and weekly prep work for the Kitchen
- Making breakfast, sandwiches, soups, etc. to-order in a fast paced kitchen
- Daily cooking and production assistance with some possible bakery assistance as well
- Keeping up with dishes from not only the kitchen but helping with FOH dishes as well
- End of day clean-up in the kitchen, including but not limited to sweeping and mopping floors, counters, trashes, freezers, fridges, floors and equipment.
- Assisting with other food production related tasks
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen/production area including washing dishes, cleaning ovens and other kitchen equipment, sweeping floors etc.
- Occasional front of house assistance
- Performing other related duties as assigned by management.
Experience:
- Some cooking experience required. Experience working in a professional kitchen setting a plus.
- Bakery experience is a bonus but not necessary

Pay: Pay is based on experience, all positions earn tips also
